All are welcome.

Russ is one of BC's top birders brought to the lime light through his 2010 BC Big Year http://bcbigyear.blogspot.com/ , which delighted BC birders and brought fresh energy to birding in BC. And YES, he broke the record and saw the most species in BC in one year! Since then Russ has headed the BC Bird Alert http://bcbirdalert.blogspot.com/ showcasing rarities around BC showing that one region's usual is another region's rarity—our province is just that spectacular! Russ is completing work on a bird finding guide to BC, works as a field biologist, and leads naturalist tours.
